The nearest town from the south is Namsos and from the north is Rørvik. The drive from Namsos to Lund takes approximately 60 minutes. Follow the coastal route FV 769 and the signs towards Lund Ferjekai. When you see the sign "Hestøya bru" cross the bridge and you have arrived on the island. Parking There are parking spaces on a lay by on the opposite side of the road next to the entrance of the island, but you can also drive on the island and find a parking spot right by the entrance. By train - bus The closest train stations are located in Steinkjer and Grong. From there, you can take a bus to Namsos and then proceed with a bus from Namsos to Lund.
